CMO productions assigned the direction of photography of this personal and challenging project to Juan Carlos Cajiao. 

A very natural and realistic photography design is the main concept that the director Camilo Vega and the producers want for the final cut. 

The photo approach is a mood where never notice where the lighting comes from...with a very romantic and intimate approach from the director of photography using ultimate technology and a lot of mirrors and reflective surfaces.

Spectacular locations and great casting...a well mixed combination.

Now is on Post phase, but any minute will be release on cinemas near you!

Shot on Arri Mini and using Cooke Anamorphic lenses as basic eyes.



Thanks to my lighting and camera teams. Great job and commitment.

The 2023 Desafio teaser promo was shot on Arri ALEXA Mini LF and Cooke full frame S7 lenses at Bogota and Tobia, Colombia.

Taking advantage of a benevolent weather and nice looking environment the whole piece shows how the Colombian people has the challenge in every normal situation. All are superhuman beings doing superhuman stuff.

We all run chasing something, hit the problems, open the gates, go through out the obstacles, balance the odds...

The direction and photography was commissioned to JC Cajiao by Lagencia, Caracol, Again at home with friends doing good stuff.

Las Ventino teaser and promo campaign for Caracol TV

Commissioned by LAGENCIA Caracol, Juan Cajiao assumed the direction and photography design for the release campaign of new serie Las Ventino, broadcast on Caracol TV channel.

Shot on tight schedule due the talent callings on the shooting, the end result was a nice a neat piece. Some of the scenes were used also in the final opening sequence of the serie.









 Working with talented acting cast is so nice and enjoyable. Success for this new proposal on screen!
