New "INTERFAZ" (Interface) Serie Lighting design by Juan Carlos Cajiao

Posted: Tuesday, March 17, 2015 by Juan Carlos Cajiao Velasco Freelance Director and Director Of Photography in Labels: , , , , ,

With great pleasure Juan Carlos Cajiao grab the eyes of this new serie show for Canal Caracol broadcast channel.

The goal: creating an ambience with a really empathetic ambience. The idea of Art direction and Lighting direction was to achieve this expression on people: Wow! I want that house for me!

With an exhausted fixtures arrangement and rigging and the helpful committed hands of the crew each place was covered and lit keeping in mind the good contrast of image for a real atmosphere in each situation. The excellent response of 2400 Sony cameras has been great!

Thanks to William Aponte, our gaffer on this project. His great collaboration and disposition to interpret the original design of Juan Cajiao was amazing. And thanks to Sotelo on the alternate set arrangement as well...and to all the crew of course.

The alternate set scenes are entirely shot on 5D Canon Mark III, mixing textures to get the digital communication/internet feeling of this new generation of relationships between family members and friends but with a great image and texture.

Soon will be on air, good luck to all the crew and staff!

Bye for now!

Soon more shots from set.
